It is important to know 

that, regardless of the name, natural mink fur or silk is not used in the production of Silk Eyelashes. 

You should also know that Silk Eyelashes and Mink Eyelashes look very natural and in the process of eyelash extension show much better properties than the previous generation of eyelash extensions.

To make Eyelash Extensions it is used artificial fibers with adding the silicone. Comparing to Mink Eyelash extensions in production of Silk Eyelash extensions they add a bigger amount of silicone, which influences the properties of extensions. That is why the Silk Eyelash Extensions are softer, more flexi and glossier, than Mink Eyelash extensions.

Animal hair or chemical fibers are not used for the production of eyelash extensions, since there is a high risk of allergic reaction after eyelash extension. At best, it can only be conjunctivitis. To reduce this risk in the production of Silk Lashes and Mink Lashes resorted to the use of synthetic chemicals. Thus, eyelash extension are made of polymers and micro-fibers, which are not inferior to the natural lashes, but without the use of organic materials.
